Teaching Assistant job summary

Brinsworth Manor Infant and Junior Schools are looking to appoint enthusiastic, passionate Teaching Assistants to work across both schools. We have two positions available: one working 32.5 hours per week and one working 18 hours per week.

These roles will involve supporting children with a range of needs, delivering individual and small group learning and supervising children during unstructured times.

We aim to develop our pupils as courageous leaders who are grounded in compassion and understanding. As a relational school, we put children at the centre of our decisions; we thrive on collaboration and fostering links with others.

The successful candidates will be warm, welcoming and inclusive. They will work successfully as part of a team and understand how children learn, including those with additional needs. Experience in working with children who have social, emotional and mental health needs is desirable but not essential.

Brinsworth Manor is proud to be part of White Woods Primary Academy Trust: a family of 16 primary schools across Rotherham, united by a shared commitment to improving children’s lives. Established in 2013, the Trust’s work is guided by its four core values—the 4Cs: Child-centred, Collaborative, Curious and Challenging.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive school and Trust where professional learning, collaboration and high-quality classroom practice are valued.
