Teaching Assistant job summary

As a Teaching Assistant you will play a vital role in supporting the education and well-being of pupils, working closely with teachers to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

This role is ideal for someone who is caring, compassionate, and patient, with a genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential. You will be working under the guidance of teaching staff to assist pupils with their learning, whether on a one-to-one basis, in small groups, or within the whole classroom setting. Your support will help to ensure that all students, including those with additional needs, are given the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The role may also involve providing pastoral care, assisting with behaviour management, and supporting children with special educational needs (SEN). You will contribute to classroom activities, prepare learning resources, and help create a positive and structured learning environment. This is a rewarding and fulfilling position where you will make a real difference in the lives of young learners by helping them build confidence, independence, and essential skills for the future.
