Teaching Assistant job summary
Belvedere Junior School are currently looking for experienced teaching assistant to join their support time, this position will be term time only, 39 weeks per year (please note that INSET days are included in this role) and will be Monday - Friday 08.30 - 15.20. This position is on a fixed term contract until August 2027.
Key responsibilities include:
- Work in partnership with the class teacher and SENDco on identified priorities.
- Support a clear and soundly based educational vision, ethos and direction that promote and support pupils’ learning and their spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.
- Work with named child/children to ensure they make good to outstanding progress.
- Meet as arranged and / or as necessary with the class teacher, members of SLT and SENDco.
- To undertake relevant training and professional development in line with the school development plan.
