The Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team. The role will be for 23.75 hours per week for 3 months fixed term with the possibility to extend. The successful candidate will support teachers in delivering high-quality education and provide targeted support to pupils to help them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and delivery of learning activities.
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs.
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Support pupils’ emotional, social, and academic development.
  • Prepare classroom materials and resources.
  • Supervise pupils during break times and school activities as required.

Person Specification:

  • Experience working with children in an educational setting (desirable).
  • A caring and patient approach with a genuine passion for supporting learning.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Certificate) are desirable but not essential.
