We are seeking a committed and skilled Teaching Assistant to join our team.

We are looking for someone who is patient, resilient, and committed to supporting vulnerable learners. They will thrive in a collaborative, supportive team environment and be dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment where every pupil can succeed.

Key responsibilities

  • Support learners with a range of additional needs, both individually and in groups.
  • Work closely with teachers to support learning, behaviour, and wellbeing.
  • Help implement support plans and monitor learner progress.
  • Prepare and adapt learning resources, including the use of ICT where appropriate.
  • Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.
  • Contribute to assessments, reports, and record keeping.
  • Support learners during exams, trips, residentials, and off-site activities.
  • Liaise effectively with staff, parents, and other professionals where required.
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow all school policies and procedures.
  • Participate in training and wider school activities as required.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is patient, resilient, and able to build positive relationships with pupils.
  • Can motivate and engage learners who may face barriers to education.
  • Works well independently and as part of a team.
  • Is committed to inclusion, safeguarding, and supporting pupil wellbeing.

  • High-quality professional development and leadership opportunities
  • A strong pastoral and therapeutic offer, including access to counselling and specialist support
