We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive school community. What You’ll Do

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils in accessing learning, including those with special educational needs.
  • Help implement Individual Education Plans and encourage positive behaviour.
  • Foster inclusion, independence, and self-esteem in every child.
  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation, classroom management, and pupil progress tracking.
  • Promote a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Support curriculum delivery, including literacy, numeracy, and ICT activities.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including trips, events, and lunchtime supervision.

What We’re Looking For

  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic individual who loves working with children.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.
  • Previous experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential - training will be provided.
