Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and helping them reach their full potential? We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive school community. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with teachers and pupils, making a real impact every day.
What You’ll DoAs a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils in accessing learning, including those with special educational needs.
- Help implement Individual Education Plans and encourage positive behaviour.
- Foster inclusion, independence, and self-esteem in every child.
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation, classroom management, and pupil progress tracking.
- Promote a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.
- Support curriculum delivery, including literacy, numeracy, and ICT activities.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including trips, events, and lunchtime supervision.
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic individual who loves working with children.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.
- Previous experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential - training will be provided.
- A welcoming and inclusive school environment.
