Teaching Assistant job summary
Salary: NJC 3 £24,796 FTE (actual salary based on term time only and part time hours is £18,651 annually or £12.85 per hour) + well-being cash plan + pension scheme (LGPS) + additional Lift Schools benefits
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time only)
Working Pattern: Mon-Fri between the hours of 8:15 am and 3:30 pm
Contract: Fixed Term for one year until August 31st 2026
Start date: September 2025

We're looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our warm, supportive team at Lift Hazelwood from September 2025. This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on the lives of young people. For this position, we need you to hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.

We are a one-form entry primary school with an attached nursery, situated in West Swindon, located just off J16 of the M4. There are currently just over 200 pupils on roll and pupils benefit from a modern, purpose-built school building with extensive grounds.
