Teaching Assistant- Grade 4 job summary

The Governors of Haslington Primary Academy are seeking to appoint a creative, highly motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant. This position is for 32.5 hours per week and is temporary in the first instance.

We offer a welcoming, vibrant school; a friendly, hardworking and supportive team of staff and Governors; happy, enthusiastic children who enjoy learning and a broad, rich, varied and creative curriculum.

They must be able to support teaching and learning in class and deliver SEND interventions under the direction of the class teacher.
This role requires effective communication skills, a positive attitude, excellent teamwork skills and high expectations of standards for attainment, achievement and behaviour.

References will be taken up for all shortlisted candidates prior to the interview. The successful applicant will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS Disclosure.
