Heronshill School and Nursery is a nurturing and inclusive infant school dedicated to giving children the best possible start in life. We are currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team on a part-time basis, working 2 days per week.

🌼 About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working with children from Early Years to Year 2, providing vital support across the classroom. This role includes:

General classroom assistance to help deliver engaging and inclusive learning

Supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

Assisting with small group work and 1:1 interventions

Encouraging positive social, emotional and academic development

🌟 We’re Looking For Someone Who:

Has experience working with young children, ideally in an Early Years or KS1 setting

Understands or has experience supporting children with SEND

Is patient, nurturing, and flexible in their approach

Works well within a team and communicates effectively with staff and children
