Hollingwood is a vibrant and inclusive primary school where children are at the centre of everything we do. We are proud of our warm, welcoming ethos and strong sense of community, where every child is supported to achieve their very best. Our dedicated staff team works collaboratively to create an environment where curiosity is encouraged, individuality is celebrated, and learning is brought to life through a rich, broad, and balanced curriculum. We place high importance on wellbeing, both for our children and our staff, and are committed to nurturing a positive, purposeful culture in which everyone can thrive.
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant who may have experience working in any phase of the primary school setting, from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) through to Year 6. The successful candidate will support the class teacher with general classroom duties, including preparation of resources, classroom organisation, and assisting with lesson delivery. A key aspect of the role will also involve providing targeted support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) across the four areas of need: Communication and Interaction, Cognition and Learning, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and Sensory and/or Physical needs. The role requires a flexible, patient and proactive approach to support all learners in achieving their full potential.
