What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:

  • flexibility to work across the school
  • the ability to work using your initiative and as part of a team
  • clear and effective communication with children and colleagues
  • a sound knowledge of supporting early readers with their phonics / emergent reading strategies
  • high standards of oral, written and numeracy skills
  • the ability to deliver targeted interventions to small groups and/or individuals
  • a commitment to education and ensuring equal opportunities
