What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint a committed, highly motivated person with energy and enthusiasm to join Holy Trinity. The successful applicant will start at 8am each morning supporting our breakfast club provision. From 8.45am, they will work across the school as a teaching assistant until 12.15pm. As part of the teaching assistant role, this may include working with groups and supporting children 1:1.

The position of Teaching Assistant is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and compassionate individual to support our learner in a wide range of subjects across the curriculum.

Education & Qualifications: GCSE grade C or above in English and mathematics or equivalent.

Experience: Experience of working with children, strong interpersonal skills, excellent listening skills

Personal Qualities: Supportive of our Christian ethos, an ability to build strong, trusting relationships, a good sense of humour, to be flexible and highly motivated, an ability to make warm and open relationships with parents and children, to enjoy being part of a team and a willingness to ask for help when you need it.

Holy Trinity Church of England Academy is a popular primary school situated in the Wiltshire town of Calne. The school was opened in 1866 and celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2016. The staff are warm, friendly, hard working and do their best for the children in their care.
