Grade C - £13.69 per hour
30 hours per week, 38 weeks per year
Fixed-Term contract until end of the Academic year
We at Kingsteignton School currently have a fixed-term (for the remainder of the academic year initially) Teaching Assistant vacancy and are looking for an inspirational individual to join our school family.
The successful candidate will prioritise building strong relationships and connections with both children and adults and will have vision, passion and a drive to achieve excellent outcomes for all pupils. They will also model a positive outlook on a daily basis and will encourage all children to aspire and ‘dream big’.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a strong and supportive staff team in a forward-thinking school. Experience of working in a similar role is desirable, but not essential, provided that you can demonstrate the aforementioned attributes and are keen to learn!

Kingsteignton School is a free school which opened its doors in September 2016
The new build school is state of the art with a very high specification, particularly in terms of technology and is situated on the outskirts of Kingsteignton.
The school, at present, has 225 pupils.
The school has recently become part of a wider community of schools – Education South West Trust.
Kingsteignton School is a ‘dementia – friendly’ school and, as part of this, we are very keen to develop healthy lifestyles for all our children and staff including growing and cooking our own home-grown food and embracing regular and varied exercise to keep physically and also mentally fit. As part of our dementia friendly ethos we are also very keen to embrace the use of the outdoor environment in as many areas of the curriculum as is possible.
