What skills and experience we're looking for
Thank you for your interest in the Teaching Assistant (Level 2) position at The Hollins. We currently have 2 vacancies, both a fixed term contract of 12 months. These vacancies have arisen due to the requirements of our incoming year 7 cohort in September. These roles present a wonderful opportunity to join a committed and supportive group of professionals within our Pupil Support Department.
At The Hollins, teaching assistants play a vital role in cultivating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment. They work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure all pupils can access the curriculum effectively, providing tailored support both within the classroom and through targeted one-to-one or small group interventions. Our teaching assistants are instrumental in helping pupils grow in confidence, independence, and achievement, while contributing to a calm, safe, and dignified school culture where every individual is valued.
