TEACHING ASSISTANT REQUIRED
A vacancy has arisen for a Teaching Assistant to work in our 2-5 year old provision with the opportunity to move across to the school
Fixed Term until 31st August 2026 (possibility of being extended)
Salary: £26,824-£28,142 FTE Pay Range: D1-D3 (£17,216-£18,062 Actual)
31.75 hours per week, 8.30am - 3.15pm (3.45pm on meeting days) 39 weeks per year.
Pre-School Teaching Assistant (Key Person Role)

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and flexible individual to join our friendly and dedicated team as a Key Person in our growing Pre-School.
This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with both school and Pre-School staff as we continue to develop our high-quality Early Years provision for children aged 2-5. Since opening, our Pre-School has gone from strength to strength, and we are looking for someone who can contribute to its continued success and growth.
At Wood End, our Pre-School and School are fully integrated, working together as one nurturing unit. There are frequent opportunities to work across both settings, so the ideal candidate will be open, adaptable, and keen to support children throughout the Early Years and KS1.
We offer a vibrant, supportive environment with a strong ethos of teamwork, creativity, and child-centred learning. Applicants should have a childcare qualification (minimum Level 3 or equivalent), a good understanding of child development, and a genuine love of working with young children. While experience in a Pre-School is desirable, we also welcome applications from those with broader Early Years experience.
