What skills and experience we're looking for

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting pupils in the classroom and during structured activities
  • Assisting with the delivery of learning activities as directed by teaching staff
  • Promoting pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development
  • Supporting pupils with additional needs
  • Working effectively as part of a team and liaising with staff and external professionals

The successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • A positive, calm, and flexible approach
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work effectively under direction and as part of a team
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Experience of working with children is desirable; experience within a SEND setting is an advantage
