What skills and experience we're looking for
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting pupils in the classroom and during structured activities
- Assisting with the delivery of learning activities as directed by teaching staff
- Promoting pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development
- Supporting pupils with additional needs
- Working effectively as part of a team and liaising with staff and external professionals
The successful candidates will demonstrate:
- A positive, calm, and flexible approach
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work effectively under direction and as part of a team
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Experience of working with children is desirable; experience within a SEND setting is an advantage
