Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant job summary
We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our team and work in this busy and vibrant school. We are seeking an enthusiastic person to work with our Year 2 team plus some lunch-time cover. This is a permanent role for 27.5 hours per week, Mondays to Fridays 9.00-15.00 hours with 30-minute unpaid lunch break, term time only.
The candidate will need:
- To be a positive and energetic person who loves working with children
- Have a friendly and approachable manner
- Be able to inspire and promote the learning of children
- Have good literacy and mathematical skills
- Be able to form position relationship with children and adults
- Enjoy working as part of a team
