Teaching Assistant Level 1 job summary

TEACHING ASSISTANT LEVEL 1 - WYBERS WOOD ACADEMY, GRIMSBY Wybers Wood Academy are looking to appoint a Level 1 Teaching Assistant to join our Academy in January 2020. You will work under the direct instruction of teacher/support staff, usually in a classroom with the teacher, to support access to learning for pupils and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. Hours: 30 per week / Temporary until 31.8.20 / term time only (38 weeks) Salary: Grade C points 4 – 6 (£18,426 - £19,171 full time equivalent) pro-rata (£9.55 - £9.94 per hour) Wybers Wood is a large primary with just over 400 pupils (aged from 4 to 11) on roll where excellent attainment and progress for pupils are consistently maintained. We take great pride in creating a warm and friendly environment and a positive culture for learning so that our children are given opportunities to excel. We place great emphasis on the social and emotional development of our pupils, alongside the encouragement of a love for learning so they can achieve their full potential academically.
