The role of a Teaching Assistant within school is vital, to support the education provision provided to children, whilst contributing to a nurturing, collaborative and safe environment - for children and staff alike.

Through this appointment, we hope to strengthen the support we provide children, to enable their development, both academically and emotionally. We are therefore looking to appointment someone who shares in this enthusiasm and can contribute effectively to our vision.
The successful candidate will therefore:
- Be approachable, friendly and positive about their role in education and contribution to our whole school community
- Is committed to supporting, motivating and challenging the learning of children of all abilities within the classroom
- Displays confidence in using a range of behaviour management skills
- Can work creatively with the Class Teacher to establish an appropriate learning environment, meeting the needs of the pupil and curriculum
- Ability to work effectively, flexibly and independently
- Shows initiative and creativity in different learning situations
- Is passionate about children’s learning and well-being
- Is keen to support the ethos of a church school
