Teaching Assistant - Level 2 - St Giles Academy

What does a Teaching Assistant - Level 2 do?
In a nutshell:
As a Teaching Assistant Level 2 you will play a crucial role in supporting teaching and learning. You will work closely with teachers and pupils, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. 1:1 work may be required at times. You will complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities. This may involve planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for the pupils and monitoring, assessing, recording and reporting on children’s progress and development.

Salary Scale: Scale 2, Points 3-4 £24,796-£25,185 (FTE)
Actual Salary: £18,546 - £18,837
Reports to: Principal
