What skills and experience we're looking for
The Governors at Greystones Primary School are looking to appoint Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our Key Stage 2 team, starting in October 2026.
The position will involve working in this team in school supporting individual pupils who need extra support to access their mainstream provision in school.
The successful candidate will:
- enjoy forming positive relationships with all pupils in school, especially children whose needs and experiences mean they sometimes need bespoke provision
-have had some trauma informed training and be interested to learn more, as necessary
- be confident to work within a team, supporting each other to implement clear boundaries and structure for children, alongside high levels of nurture and care
- aim high for every child, ensuring the best academic and wider outcomes for children who need extra support in school
- have a role supervising children during some playtimes and lunchtimes to ensure positive social experiences at school
- be an excellent team-player and good communicator
