What skills and experience we're looking for
The Governors at Greystones Primary School are looking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years team.
This position will involve working primarily within Foundation Stage and will include general classroom support as well as some time working 1:1 to support children to access their mainstream provision.
The successful candidate will:
Enjoy working with children
Have experience supporting children with social communication or other needs
Support groups of children and / or individual children both in class and out of class where appropriate
Feel motivated to work with pupils with a range of strengths and needs to ensure the best outcomes for every child
Have a role supervising children during some playtimes and lunchtimes to ensure positive social experiences at school
Be an excellent team-player and good communicator

Greystones Primary School is a three-form entry school situated in the south west leafy suburbs of Sheffield, approximately two miles from city centre, serving cosmopolitan and aspirational neighbourhood, with an on-roll number of 632 pupils in June 2024.
Our wonderful Edwardian buildings have undergone significant improvements in recent years, culminating in a major expansion project which was completed March 2016.
