About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant with a background of working in a Primary School setting, with knowledge and experience of Special Educational Needs and Early Years.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils from our Early Years setting through to our Year 6 pupils. You will support other team members through planning, resourcing and assessing on a day-to-day basis alongside ensuring robust systems of safeguarding and pupil safety are ensured at all times. The Teaching Assistant will be fully aware of the learners with EHCP’s and SEN status, providing support in line with learner support plans. Alongside this provision, support will be given to our Enhanced Resource Provision children under the guidance of our ERP Teacher. This bespoke support will cover SEMH, communication and Autistic needs within Foundation Stage and the ERP. It is anticipated that they will be flexible and use their initiative to ensure that all opportunities to support all learners are maximised during the course of the school day and beyond. 

About You

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working within a Primary School setting, with knowledge and experience of Special Educational Needs and Early Years. Candidates will also be educated to GCSE standard pass rates with a minimum of a Level 2 relevant qualification.
