Join Reedswood Primary Academy as a Teaching Assistant Level 2, supporting pupils across KS1 or KS2. Be part of an exceptional/strong Ofsted-rated primary academy, helping children thrive through engaging learning, positive relationships and a nurturing, inclusive school environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of high-quality learning activities under the direction of the teacher.
• Encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence and resilience.
• Support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to access learning and participate fully in academy life
• Promote positive behaviour and support pupils in developing appropriate social skills
• Recognise and respond appropriately to wellbeing and safeguarding concerns

Pay range:

• NJC SCP 6-9 £20,740.77 - £21,749.73 (FTE: £26,847 - £28,153)
• Full Time, 32.5 hours Per week
• Term Time only, 39 weeks Per year
• Fixed Term Until 31st July 2027.

Qualifications and Skills:

• GCSE Grade C/4 or above in Maths and English (or equivalent)
• Ability to support teaching and learning effectively within a classroom environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with pupils, colleagues, parents/carers and other stakeholders
• Ability to adapt support and learning activities to meet the needs of individual pupils.
