Teaching Assistant Level 2 job summary
Winteringham Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant Level 2. The role involves supporting the class teacher and undertaking PPA cover and small group interventions. Other roles will include supervising at playtimes, lunchtimes and when needed breakfast and after school club on a rota basis. This role requires someone who is flexible and open to change. Experience of positive behaviour management and working with children with special education needs is desirable.
We are looking for a motivated and committed individual who is flexible in their approach. You will be fully supported by teaching staff and there is opportunity for career development. As a staff we are a supportive, hard working team with high expectations and we would welcome the opportunity to help an individual progress.
The position is 32.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday, term time only on a temporary contract for one year.
