Sir John Nelthorpe School is a successful and popular 11-19 comprehensive school with a rapidly growing roll (currently 775 students).It has a caring ethos and long tradition of academic achievement for all.
We are looking to appoint a caring and committed teaching assistant with responsibility for sports.
You will be working alongside the PE faculty staff to support and organise sporting activities during breaks, lunchtimes and to accompany our varied sporting teams on fixtures after school. You will experience whole class, small group work and working with individuals on a one-to-one basis.
We are seeking a friendly and caring person who is able to establish positive working relationships with children and adults.
You will have a good standard of general education including Maths and English at Level 2 (GCSE grade C or higher or equivalent) and will have achieved a recognised sports qualification at Level 2 or equivalent.
