We are seeking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant Level 3 to join our dedicated team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils in achieving their full potential within a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Working under the direction of teaching staff and the SENDCo, you will contribute to raising standards of achievement by supporting learning, promoting pupil wellbeing and helping to create a positive classroom environment.

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant Level 3, you will:

  • Support pupils’ learning and development, including those with additional needs.
  • Promote inclusion, independence and positive behaviour.
  • Deliver structured learning activities and intervention programmes under teacher guidance.
  • Work closely with teachers to monitor progress and provide feedback on pupil achievement.
  • Assist with classroom preparation, learning resources and displays.
  • Support pupils' wellbeing, safety and personal development.
  • Build positive relationships with families, colleagues and external professionals.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including trips, events and enrichment activities.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
  • Holds a relevant Level 3 qualification and GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Mathematics (or equivalent).
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Can motivate and inspire children to achieve their best.
  • Demonstrates patience, resilience and a positive attitude.
  • Can work effectively as part of a team and use initiative when required.
  • Is committed to inclusion, safeguarding and supporting every child to succeed.
