We ensure that all of our pupils are both challenged and supported in order to make real progress and to be equipped with the knowledge, skills and understanding to be able to make informed choices and have an influence on their own future. At Hartsholme Academy we have high expectations of all of our pupils and aim for the very highest standards in all areas of the curriculum, including of course in the vital skills of reading, writing and being confident and competent with mathematics.

We care for each and every one of our pupils and place a huge emphasis on the pastoral care and support we offer to all children and families in our community. We recognise that education goes well beyond the academic and put the necessary time and resources into trying to ensure all children’s needs are met before stepping foot into the classroom each and every day. This permeates through our whole school and we genuinely mean it when we say, ‘our door is always open.’

At Hartsholme Academy we have a fabulous building and exciting and stimulating learning environments that are conducive to learning that is not only highly demanding but also dynamic, collaborative and hugely motivating. But it is far more than a building with classrooms - it is a special place that is brought to life by our fabulously talented and dedicated staff team and our incredible children. Come and take a look for yourself…
