What skills and experience we're looking for
Varndean School requires an enthusiastic, committed and outstanding Teaching Assistant. The successful applicant would be expected to provide in-class support to students with a range of special educational needs, experience of working with students on the autistic spectrum would be advantageous.

Varndean School is an 11-16 school with around 1500 students, set in a picturesque south coast location in the vibrant and diverse city of Brighton and Hove. We are a Good (Ofsted 2022) and well-established school already, we have made rapid progress over the past couple of years and have no intention of resting on our laurels.
