Contract: Fixed Term until April 2025
Hours: 36.25 hours, 39 weeks (term time plus one week)
Working pattern: Monday – Friday, 8.15am – 4pm
Salary: Pathway 3, Point 9 -13, £20,982.54 - £22, 447.70, (FTE £25,119 - £26,873) per annum
Site: Gladstone Primary Academy

Your role:
As a Teaching Assistant (maternity cover) at Gladstone Primary, you will play a crucial role in supporting the progress of students with additional learning and physical needs. Under the guidance of the Class Teacher, you will adapt and deliver learning activities for individuals or small groups, ensuring all students can access the curriculum. Essential skills for this role include the ability to explain tasks simply and clearly, encouraging student independence, and excellent organisational skills. You’ll communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents, and work both independently and as part of a dynamic team. Your role will also involve using ICT to enhance learning and joining in on exciting school trips and activities. Plus, you’ll play a crucial part in safeguarding our students, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
