Heytesbury Church of England Primary School is looking for a motivated Teaching Assistant to join its friendly and dedicated team on a maternity cover contract, with effect from March 2024.
We are a caring and vibrant small primary school with mixed age classes, educating children between the ages of 4 and 11 years. Located in the village of Heytesbury, near Warminster, Wiltshire, our school has close links with the local community and the church of St Peter & St Paul. We believe that every child has a unique brilliance waiting to be discovered, nurtured and celebrated, and encourage all our children to aim high, learn, and grow in order to reach their full potential. Our dedicated staff work hard to ensure a well-rounded education and learning environment, which supports and challenges pupils to prepare them for academic success and life as responsible, caring, and confident individuals. In 2017 we joined Acorn Education Trust, which provides exciting opportunities to collaborate and improve local education.
This role will primarily work with KS2 pupils. However as a Teaching Assistant, you must be able to work across all age ranges within our school and be prepared to work flexibly to support children of all abilities, including those requiring SEN support, liaising with teachers and SENCO.
