• Job Term:  27.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term-time
  + 1 week)
• Hours to be
  worked between 8.45am - 3.15pm, Monday to Friday

Roman Hill
Primary is a large primary school at the heart of the town of Lowestoft in
Suffolk. The Early Years Foundation Stage is fundamental to our current journey
to transform our school. We are seeking a positive, self-motivated Teaching
Assistant to provide Maternity Cover within our dedicated team. The
successful candidate is likely to be based in an EYFS class.

 You will:

  ·        
Have experience
of supporting and safeguarding children

·        
Be consistent, patient,
nurturing, calm and empathetic

·        
Possess the
knowledge and skills to effectively support pupils’ learning across the
curriculum, including Literacy and Mathematics (knowledge of the Early Years Framework would be a distinct advantage)

·        
Demonstrate
initiative, drive and dedication towards helping pupils learn

·        
Be able to form
positive professional relationships with parents and families.

  Experience within
a similar role would be advantageous. GCSE in English and Maths at Grade C or
above (or equivalent) is desirable. Knowledge and/or experience of supporting
SEND would also be advantageous.
