Teaching Assistant / Mealtime Assistant (2 positions) job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Trust at Ashburton Primary School. We are looking to appoint two Teaching Assistants / Mealtime Assistants starting at the beginning of January 2026.

These roles are fixed term until the end of August 2026. Hours are Monday to Friday, 26.25 hours per week as a Teaching Assistant and 2.5 hours per week as a Mealtime Assistant, 38 weeks per year.

You will need to be enthusiastic, have a knowledge of how children learn and be committed to a collaborative approach working with colleagues to deliver the highest quality support and best possible outcomes for each child. You should have a clear understanding of safeguarding and be passionate about working with children..
