Further details about the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team of staff and our wider New Close community.

New Close Primary School is a happy and caring school where the staff are dedicated to creating a stimulating place for children to thrive and learn. In our most recent Ofsted inspection we received a ‘Good’ rating, with the inspectors praising our staff for their high expectations of pupils’ learning and behaviour, which has led to pupils enjoying coming to school. As part of the Acorn Education Trust it provides exciting opportunities to improve local education. We are immensely proud of our school and the facilities we offer. As a teaching assistant, you must be willing and able to work across the age ranges in our school and be prepared to work flexibly to support children of all abilities, liaising with teachers and SENCO.
