Ormiston Herman Academy is seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant for a fixed term period until August 2026.
The role is based on working for 31.25 hours per week, 39 working weeks (school term time plus 1 week). Job shares would be considered so please state this in your application if this would be your preferred method.
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team of support staff who are dedicated to providing the best possible opportunities to our students. In liaison with the class teacher, you will work with students to target identified learning needs. You will also provide practical support in the classroom to students who have recognised learning needs, supporting them to achieve their potential. You will have a genuine passion and belief in the potential of every pupil and be able to relate to young people and adults within the learning environment and be versatile, resilient and able to adapt your practice wherever necessary to support across all key stages.
