Teaching Assistant Part Time Fixed Term job summary

This varied role combines Teaching Assistant responsibilities, working Monday to Friday from 12:15pm to 3:15pm, with supporting our After School Club provision from 3:15pm to 6:00pm on two afternoons each week.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will support children across the school, working alongside teaching staff to deliver our high-quality curriculum, provide targeted interventions, and help implement individual learning plans and EHCP targets. You will play an important role in helping every child achieve their full potential and enjoy a positive school experience.

As an After School Club Assistant (Playworker), you will help provide a safe, engaging and enjoyable environment for children at the end of the school day. Duties will include supporting the day-to-day organisation of the club, completing registration and administrative tasks, preparing activities, and encouraging children to participate in a range of play and enrichment opportunities.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable and able to work as part of a friendly and supportive team with high expectations for all children. Experience of working with children would be desirable, although full training will be provided.
