Teaching Assistant (Part Time) KS2 job summary

We are looking for an excellent Teaching Assistant with vision and a passion for bringing out the best in all children and who can make a real difference in our school. This is a key role within our school and involves working closely with the teachers and other school professionals. It will involve supporting teaching and learning in the mixed Year 5 & 6 class working with a small group to aid the teaching of daily maths alongside the class teacher.

The hours for the role are Term Time Only Monday - Friday 8.30am-1pm including lunch cover each day.

This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team as a Teaching Assistant in a thriving village primary school in West Oxfordshire. We are looking for a member of staff who is dedicated to supporting children’s learning and able to demonstrate initiative and the ability to organise and communicate effectively.

This is a fixed term position for the remainder of the 25/26 academic year with potential to extend subject to the needs of the school
