Are you a passionate individual looking to make a difference in the lives of young learners? Pinvin C of E Academy is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistants to join our team. The applicant needs to be flexible as the role may involve a mixture of working in Foundation Stage, KS1 or KS2 classes, or 1:1 with specific children. The role will include some lunchtime duties and there is the additional possibility of extended pm hours as part of the wrap around team.

The Role

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide tailored support: Work closely with children who have special educational needs and disabilities, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with teachers: Assist class teachers in planning and delivering personalised learning activities.
  • Promote inclusion: Ensure that all children feel valued and included in all aspects of school life.
  • Monitor progress: Track and report on the progress of the children you support, celebrating their achievements and identifying areas for improvement.
