Contract: Fixed Term until 31st Dec 2024
Hours: 28.75 hours, 39 weeks (term time plus one week)
Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.15pm (including 2.5 hours per week as a Play Worker)
Salary: Pathway 2, Points 4 – 8, £15,293.80 - £16,344.53, (FTE £23,114 - £24,702) per annum

If so, we would welcome you to apply to be a teaching assistant/play worker at Warboys Primary Academy on a fixed term basis until 31st December 2024.
Your role:
As a Teaching Assistant at Warboys Primary Academy, you will play a crucial role in supporting the classroom teacher and helping pupils achieve their full potential. Your responsibilities will include assisting individual students, particularly those with special needs, to access learning activities, promoting good behaviour, and preparing classroom materials. Additionally, you will work 2.5 hours per week as a Play Worker, ensuring a safe and engaging play environment for our pupils. We are looking for someone with a Level 2 qualification in Maths and English, a Teaching Assistant qualification, and a willingness to undertake first aid training. Experience in supporting literacy, numeracy, and ICT in the classroom is desirable.
