Working under the guidance of teaching and senior class staff, this rewarding—yet sometimes challenging—role involves supporting students to access and engage with teacher-led curriculum and learning activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the implementation of individual education and behaviour plans
- Supporting learning both in the classroom and in alternative settings
- Providing personal care, attending to hygiene needs, and administering medication

Booker Park School is a special school meeting the needs of primary age pupils with a range of complex needs. These may include moderate or severe learning difficulties, autism, physical and other sensory disabilities, and sometimes challenging behaviour as a consequence of these difficulties.
