Teaching Assistant (Resource Base) and MDSA job summary

The working hours for this role are expected to be 19.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year. The start date for this role is as soon as possible.

Studley Green Primary School is seeking to appoint a capable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their Resource Base. As a member of staff within our Trust, you will contribute to a collaborative working environment and play a key role in supporting the learning and development of all pupils.

This rewarding role involves supporting children with a range of additional needs to access learning, develop independence and achieve their full potential within a nurturing and inclusive school environment. Working closely with teachers, the Inclusion Lead, families and external professionals, you will provide tailored support to pupils with SEND, including those with autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, attachment difficulties, physical needs and other learning differences. You will help deliver engaging learning activities, build pupils' confidence and self-esteem, support positive behaviour, and contribute to the development of individual support plans and learning strategies. The successful candidate will be a compassionate and resilient team player with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and a genuine commitment to supporting children with additional needs. Experience of working with children in an educational setting is essential, and experience supporting pupils with SEND would be advantageous.
