Teaching Assistant job summary

John Taylor Multi Academy Trust (JTMAT) believes in the power of education to improve lives - and the world. As a partner academy in JTMAT, we are seeking to appoint a patient, kind and caring SEND Teaching Assistant who will be predominantly working on a one-to-one basis, to join our evolving organisation.

The successful candidate willideally:

Have experience of or willingness to learn braille.

Have experience of working within the primary age range.

Be a good team player who is confident to work collaboratively.

Be passionate about learning and supporting teaching, putting children at the heart of everything they do.

Be a dedicated professional with the ability to inspire children and their colleagues.

Have an ability to develop good working relationships with parents and carers.

This is post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (2013 and 2020).
