Teaching Assistant - SEN 1:1 job summary
We believe that every child deserves to love their time at school and to remember it fondly. To facilitate this, we are seeking to appoint two enthusiastic, inspiring and well-organised Teaching Assistants to join our richly rewarding school.
The successful candidate will:
• Ideally be a qualified NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant or a graduate with good standards of literacy and numeracy.
• Be committed to the school’s high standards of teaching, learning and professional development.
• Have excellent communication skills, a warm and caring personality and a good sense of humour.
• Understand the importance of an inclusive environment and high expectations on pupil behaviour.
• Have a welcoming and friendly approach with a high level of professionalism.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of pupils in adherence with the school procedures while in play areas, the dining hall, classrooms or in transit between
Experience working in a classroom environment is highly desirable and the ability to communicate clearly and work with the best interests of the pupils.
This position is for a fixed-term until the end of the Autumn Term, 2022 where there could be the possibility for an extension.

Wymondham College Prep School opened in September 2020 on the site of Wymondham College, with two Reception classes, a total of 60 pupils. In September 2021 we opened our doors to our very new Prep School building, as well as our new boarding facilities, Underwood Hall.
