What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint a committed individual to support one of our SEN students. The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of SEN provision, excellent communication skills and a willingness to develop and to lead by positive example. Applicants must be enthusiastic and positive individuals who enjoy working with children and are committed to working as part of an energetic and friendly staff team.The ideal candidate will be someone who has:
- Previous experience of working with and supporting children of relevant age in a school environment.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to work constructively as part of a supportive team.
- Good Literacy and Numeracy skills.
- Ability to build successful working relationships with both children, staff and parents.
- Personal commitment to on-going professional development.

Freeman’s Endowed Church of England Junior Academy is a two form entry school of some 240 pupils. The school has a strong Christian ethos and links with the parish church of St Barnabas. Freeman's is part of the Peterborough Diocese Education Trust (PDET) and we have a strong working relationship with the Trust and the schools within it.
