Teaching Assistant (SEN) job summary

We are seeking to appoint Educational Teaching Assistants to our large, diverse and expanding Special Educational Needs provision. We are looking for team players with a commitment to supporting and nurturing some of our more vulnerable students. A good sense of humour, kindness and flexibility are essential for this role.

We are proud of our Special Educational Needs offer, which is excellent, and as a result more parents are choosing to send their children to be supported by our provision. The team of Educational Teaching Assistants is large and stable and these positions have become vacant due to further growth in SEN students needing support in our school.

In return we can offer you a warm and welcoming school community, with a firm set of values embedded in everything we do.

To commence in September 2026 on a fixed term basis to 21st July 2027, but with the potential to extend due to funding.

Hours of work will be;

Monday - Friday 9am - 3:15 (45min lunch break)

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All staff are subject to an enhanced DBS check.
