- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) at Grade C+
- Competent IT skills
- Organisational skills and be able to work independently recording children’s progress
- A sense of humour (essential)

St Gabriel’s Catholic Primary School is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant who is passionate, dedicated and creative individual to join our highly committed learning team. The post will involve supporting the learning needs of pupils initially in KS2.
The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting children across KS2.
We are seeing someone who will:

- Support the daily routines and requirements of all children
- Deliver high quality learning experiences
- Work as an effective team player
- Have high expectations of all children’s achievement and a commitment to inspiring learners
- Demonstrate excellent behaviour management skills
- Be flexible and adaptable
- Demonstrate initiative.

Main duties are:
- To assist and support the teacher in the delivery of learning activities
- To help all pupils develop the skills required in all subject areas
- To assist the Designated Teacher/Support Staff with resource required for any activity.
- Communicate effectively with staff and parents when required
