Full-Time Teaching Assistant

32.50 hours per week - 39 weeks per year including five inset days.

Grade 3, point 6-9

St Helena’s C of E Primary Academy are currently seeking to appoint an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic full time Fixed-Term (01.09.2026-31.08.2027) Teaching Assistant.

We are looking for someone who:

Is dedicated, caring, enthusiastic, creative and inspiring and has the skill set to support all children to become the best

Has excellent communication and team working skills

Is able to promote social and personal development

Is confident in supporting phonics

Is able to foster excellent working relationships with the children they are working with

Is committed to developing their own skills

Is committed to delivering high quality support and intervention work

Is able to prepare and adapt resources and teaching materials

Has good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE or equivalent) and NVQ 2 (or equivalent) Teaching Assistant Qualification.
