Lisle Marsden Church of England Primary Academy wishes to recruit a number of high quality Teaching Assistants to join its committed hard working team of classroom support staff.
We are looking for enthusiastic, dedicated and passionate team members who are interested in supporting pupils to learn effectively and to have a positive impact upon pupil outcomes.
Posts are available to work directly with pupils in a number of Year groups with an Education, Health and Care Plan. Successful post holders will deliver learning through a combination of 1-2-1 and small group support, both within and outside of the classroom, to enable pupils to learn effectively, as well as enabling inclusion through accessing the curriculum in whole class learning. The role will also involve delivering tailored programmes of intervention with small groups and providing support during lunchtimes. The successful candidates will also be required to work closely with external agencies in order to continually review and monitor provision and progress.
The posts involve working in EYFS and Key Stage 1 to support children with a range of special educational needs/disability including - Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC), Global Developmental Delay, Speech Language and Communication and Mobility needs.
As well as working with the class teacher, other adults and liaising with parents, the post holder will also be required to use initiative and to maintain a calm, positive but firm approach to encourage growing independence, whilst at the same time clearly establishing and maintaining boundaries.
