What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Good standard of education (5 x GCSE’s – English and Maths C or above) or equivalent
  • qualification/experience (e.g. substantial experience as a Teaching Assistant).
  • Have an understanding of classroom roles and responsibilities and your own position within these
  • Have an understanding of principles of child development and learning processes and in particular, barriers to learning
  • Be able to plan and implement effective actions for pupils at risk of underachieving,
  • Be a natural communicator with the ability to relate to both pupils and adults.

Two Rivers CofE Primary school is an outstanding school in a new, state-of-the-art building located in the heart of the new Hygge Park development in Keynsham.
