Teaching Assistant job summary

Thames View Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly effective Teaching Assistant, to start with immediate effect.

The successful candidate will fulfil this classroom-based role, with potential involvement in our Inclusion Hub and Dog Mentor programme. We are seeking a candidate who is comfortable working with school dogs, can demonstrate strong attention to detail, uphold high professional standards, and contribute to a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive.

This is a part time, permanent role, Term Time Only, paid on the NJC pay scale D2 points 4-11 (FTE £25,185 - £28,142 - actual salary calculated on a pro rata basis which equates to £16,221 - £18,125 per annum).

The working pattern will consist of 28.5 hours per week, Monday-Wednesday 8:30-15:30 with a 30-minute unpaid break, Thursday & Friday 8:30-13:00.
